Life
Bio: Fortura was born with her brother and sisters across the sea from Lapushka. Her parents had left the island before the Illness reached its peak. However, they told the pups glorious stories about the island’s beauty and bounty as they grew up. Perhaps Fortura, the most adventurous of her litter, was the only pup who wished she had been born in the magnificent lands their parents spoke of so fondly. Perhaps she became obsessed with the mere idea, letting it invade her daily life and her dreams. Perhaps she was wrong in crossing the sea when she grew strong enough, but perhaps she would not be disappointed at what she found when she arrived on the island’s soft beaches.
